MYO King’s Cross

MYO King's Cross is a new co-working flexible office space adjacent to King's Cross station. The overall site offers 80,000 sq ft of rentable office space and the total project value was £42m and was completed by fit out contractor, Structure Tone. Access Lifts were specified through a consultant to provide a vertical hidden platform lift for the Glasshouse building on York Way. The overall lifts contract was awarded through Kone and Access lifts provided the platform lift as a subcontractor to Kone.

The lift features automatic retractable shields to prevent a user rolling off of the platform. It has a control post on the platform for independent use and an automatic frameless upper landing gate. All steelwork is finished in brushed stainless steel to match the surrounding steelwork within the main reception area. The lift flooring is in the same natural stone tile as the whole lobby. The platform perimeter has black rubber trims to add contrast for those users who are visually impaired.

The lift was installed in Q3 2025 ready for the MYO King's Cross grand opening.
